This weekend the waterbus was busy, apart from 2 hen parties, it was being used in the ways we had thought it could. Somebody from the village went as far as Sydney Gardens to go shopping at Waitrose and then back by bus. A family with children out for a towpath walk from Bath, but getting very tired went back in happiness to the Cheshire Cat and icecreams. Another couple did the river/canal circuit…came up by river boat from Bath, went back by canal waterbus. Some people got a return and stayed with the boat. Others have taken loyalty cards to save up for their free trip. We were really pleased that people really enjoyed it.
But also the Cleveland Baths group are really excited by it as it is the green accessible form of transport that they need in order to get people to the Baths when it opens as there is no parking available there. We are very proud to be able to help with this project.
